Brianna M. Baker

Biography

Brianna M. Baker's mission is to help people study, understand, and apply God's Word so they can know Him more deeply and live with greater biblical confidence. After beginning her walk with Christ in 2016, she discovered a love for studying Scripture and helping others grow in their faith. What began with leading her first Bible study that same year has grown into years of serving in Christian education, equipping believers to understand, apply, and live out God's Word.

She writes the way she teaches: plainly, warmly and always from the text. Her work is known for pairing genuine biblical depth with language anyone can follow on their very first day of faith.

Statement of faith

We believe in one God, eternally existing in Father, Son and Holy Spirit; in the Bible as the inspired and authoritative Word of God; in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; and in the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit forming believers into the likeness of Christ.

Ministry background

Today, Brianna is a licensed minister, serves as a ministry director at her church, and is the Managing Teacher's Assistant for the Institute of Applied Ministry, where she oversees six teaching assistants across two classes of ministry students. Whether teaching, mentoring, or writing, her heart is to make biblical truth practical, accessible, and transformational for everyday believers. Be Specific, her debut book, was born from a deeply personal season. Longing for a resource that would help her pray with greater intentionality and confidence, Brianna searched for one but couldn't find it. So, she created the resource she wished she'd had: a prayer devotional journal that helps believers see life through a biblical worldview, engage Scripture with purpose, and cultivate specific, Scripture-centered conversations with God. Her prayer is that every page draws you closer to the heart of God, strengthens your faith, and equips you to pray His Word with greater confidence, clarity, and expectation.
